While we are counting down the days to the holiday season, Yolo Food Bank recognizes this time of year as an often financially stressful time for many vulnerable community members. We have seen continued high inflation and economic uncertainty, and the amount of people needing food assistance is only increasing.
We invite YOU to support our community's ability to gather and break bread this holiday season by joining us in our Yolo Gives & Gathers campaign! We will be preparing a total of 2,250 meal kits for 11 Holiday Food Distributions throughout Yolo County, where individuals and families can receive free groceries for a bountiful holiday meal.
Packing Shifts: Volunteers will work along a conveyor belt in an assembly line to pull food items off of pallets and pack them into boxes.
