Who We Are

Join us for Behind the Scenes - Packing and Sorting at the Yolo Food Bank warehouse!

Our 32,000 square foot facility in Woodland allows us to store and distribute up to 1 million pounds of food each month. Over 70 nonprofit partners from around the county visit Yolo Food Bank on a regular basis to access food for their programs. We also supply food to the Yolo County community through our three direct-to-recipient programs: Private Community Food Distributions, Public Community Food Distributions, and Student Farmers Markets.

What We Do

Our enthusiastic and driven staff members will show you the ropes so that you can help prepare food for distribution to our community members. You'll work in small or large groups (depending on the activity) to get the job done!

You can join us:

  • In the Packing Area to assemble meal kits and grocery bags
  • In the Quality Assurance Room to sort and pack produce or dry goods
  • In the Office to support our administrative functions
