Are you passionate about improving access to fresh food for our community members? Join us at the Yolo Food Bank warehouse and operations facility! Your help will ensure that our neighbors across the county can rely on access to fresh produce and staple foods!
You will work along a conveyor belt to pack boxes and/or bags with various produce and shelf-stable items that will be:
- delivered right to our neighbors' doorsteps through the Private Community Food Distribution program OR
- delivered directly to migrant housing centers in the county through the Cultivo program*
- Yolo Food Bank has launched a brand-new pilot program: “Cultivo" which provides agricultural workers with access to fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate foods directly to their places of residence and employment, such as fields, farms, packing plants, and canneries. The program is designed to eliminate barriers, such as transportation and needing time off from work by meeting people where they are.

While we aim to offer a consistent schedule, we may have to adjust dates and times to best serve our food recipients. Time frames for dual-packing shifts are dependent on program needs. Please be aware of the time frames when registering for a shift.
This event will be held in the Warehouse Packing area. Please view the map below for additional information.
