Hey Volunteers! Did you know that Yolo Food Bank has a program to recognize volunteers at significant service benchmarks in their volunteering journey?
In fact, we established the Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) back in 2020 and now have a new and improved version that we want to share with you!
What is VIP?
Our Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) aims to share our appreciation for the work our volunteers do for our community!
Quarterly Drawing
Each quarter, we will do a drawing to celebrate our volunteers! Expect a drawing to take place at the end of March, June, September, and December. Volunteers become eligible to win a prize by either:

Being nominated by a Site Lead

Completing service benchmarks

*For every additional 10 hours you serve, get 1 extra entry into the drawing (up to 10 entries total). You may only win 1 prize per year.*

Lifetime Achievement Award
After completing 500 hours with the Yolo Food Bank, we will honor your dedication with an award displayed at the YFB facility and here on the Volunteer Appreciation page. We recognize such an achievement and hope that many others will follow your example.
Lifetime Achievement Awards will be assessed annually, based on the number of hours officially logged for each volunteer, and Awardees will be announced at the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event.
