Hey Volunteers! Did you know that Yolo Food Bank has a program to recognize volunteers at significant service benchmarks in their volunteering journey?
In fact, we established the Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) back in 2020 and now have a new and improved version that we want to share with you!
What is VIP?
VIP is a program that was created to show our appreciation for the work our volunteers do for our community. When you sign in and out of volunteer opportunities, your hours are tracked in our database.
The VIP has two components: a Quarterly Drawing and a Lifetime Achievement Award. All volunteers are eligible to be entered into the Quarterly Drawing either by being nominated by a Site Lead or completing service benchmarks. Read more about the details on our VIP Page HERE!
What about the hours that I served before joining the new website?
If you've accumulated and logged service hours between March 2018 and February 2023, we currently have them stored in our records. If you would like to have your service history transferred to your new profile, you can use THIS LINK to request a transfer.
If you've already requested your hours to be transferred, it should now be reflected on your profile. To login and check your profile, you can use this link here.
Please note: Your hours do not need to be transferred to make you eligible for the Volunteer Incentive Program. All service hour records will be cross referenced at the time of announcing each quarterly drawing and Lifetime Achievement Award.
