Who We Are
Thanks to Sutter Health, Yolo Food Bank is providing nutritious and culturally appropriate food to an average of 200 agricultural workers monthly, directly to their place of work (fields, farms, packing plants, and canneries) or residence through the Family Food Box Ag Program.
What We Do
Family Food Box Ag was born out of our “Yolo County Food Access Survey,” which revealed a staggering 53% of agricultural worker households in Yolo County are food insecure. Since it's inception, Yolo Food Bank proudly serves ~200 agricultural worker households in Yolo County, providing critical, culturally appropriate food to this essential community
